The new generation of leaders are those that can motivate, inspire and engage as well as drive business results.
In today’s organizations there is an increased emphasis on employee recruiting, motivation, and retention. Leaders and managers are expected to build a workplace that attracts, engages and retains high performing talent. As a result this ability becomes an added measure of their success.
Course Objective
The purpose of our program is to develop strategies with the participants to enhance their people skills. We will clarify the approaches needed to manage impressions and improve key relationships. In addition, we will explore their application to today’s multi-generational work environment.
Learning Outcomes
- Learn how to be a well-rounded professional with new and effective people skills.
- Learn how to be perceived as a “people person”.
- Learn the distinctions of managing impressions in a multi-generational environment.
- Applying the General Relationship Theory© to improving key business relationships.
Skill Building Components
This program will focus on the combination of impression skills and relationship skills that will allow participants to establish and maintain productive business relationships. Participants will have the opportunity to work in small groups to practice these skills.
Additional Information
The Kaufman People Skills program is delivered in-house as two half day sessions to allow for integrated practice between the sessions. The program is delivered by Karen Kaufman and Don Kaufman.
About the Kaufman Partnership, Ltd.
The program is led by Karen Kaufman and Don Kaufman of The Kaufman Partnership, Ltd. Karen and Don bring their more than 25 years of experience consulting and coaching individuals in organizations on impression and relationship management. Both Karen and Don have Masters Degrees in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania.
