Impression Management for Leaders

Impression Management for Leaders is for individuals who have been identified as key organizational players.  To support their success requires combining their strong technical experience with the increased ability to relate well with colleagues and clients.  Experience has shown that people communicate their proficiency by making good business impressions and relating well by developing and managing relationships.

The purpose of this course is to identify and further develop the impression factors necessary to make a good leadership impression.  Those who would benefit from this course are managers, project managers, and teams.

Course Objective

To develop action strategies that enhances one’s ability to make good impressions and develop strong business relationships.

Learning Outcomes

  • Develop an awareness of how you are perceived by others.
  • Enhance your visual, vocal and verbal impact.
  • Adapt and upgrade your leadership impressions.
  • Become more proactive in managing your relationships.
  • Achieve a better balance between your technical skills and your people skills.

Skill Building Components

Participants will become more outwardly focused and less inhibited when faced with new situations.  They will walk away with a system to develop more positive impressions and more satisfying and productive business relationships.

Additional Information

  • Each participant will complete “The Kaufman Impression Management System™.” An individual assessment tool developed by the Kaufman Partnership.
  • There are no prerequisites; however, we ask that you dress as you would for a leadership role.
