Karen Kaufman

Karen Kaufman Kaufman PartnershipKaren Kaufman is an experienced Executive Coach, seasoned Consultant and results-focused Seminar Leader shifting the way clients view and manage their impression and increase their capacity for building productive and satisfying business relationships. She assists clients in establishing greater executive presence to maximize their leadership and performance.  Karen coaches professionals and executives in numerous industries, including healthcare, professional and financial services, technology and pharmaceuticals.

Karen’s passion is to be a catalyst to her clients in assisting them in reaching their potential as professionals and leaders.  Utilizing a variety of approaches, Karen brings her advanced skills in keen listening, authentic communication, and ability to analyze complex business relationships to assist her clients in making new distinctions and effectively addressing the organizational dynamics of their leadership teams.
 
Karen is a Founding Member of The Center for Organizational Dynamics at The University of Pennsylvania and past Chair of the Participant’s Steering Committee.  She is also a Founding member of the Psychoanalytic Coaches Association, a seasoned group of executive coaches.  Karen is currently Chair Emeritus of the Board of Advisors for the School of Business Administration at Philadelphia University.  Karen is serving on the Governing Board of the Friends of Independence National Historical Park and has just completed a substantial fundraising project.  Karen is a current member of the Forum of Executive Women and has served on the board as both membership and program chair.  Karen is also an eleven year member of the Union League in Philadelphia and is a Member of The Board of Governors of The Pyramid Club of Philadelphia.  Pennsylvania Governor Edward Rendell and the Department of Community and Economic Development selected Karen Kaufman as one of the 50 Best Women in Business for 2003.

Karen earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration from Philadelphia University in 1976 and a Masters of Science Degree in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania in 1994. 

 

Don Kaufman

Donald Kaufman Kaufman PartnershipDon Kaufman is a highly skilled and accomplished Executive Coach with 30 years of business and coaching experience.   He specializes in maximizing role performance using impression and relationship management for clients in an executive or professional role.  His clients are in practices such as Accounting, Law, or are Employed Physicians in a Hospital based Practice Group and Pharmaceutical Companies. While his clients have the technical or clinical skills, the organization requires progression to new roles and responsibilities that requires greater collaboration and leadership.  Don coaches his clients to advance their effectiveness by balancing their considerable technical skills and abilities with their people skills to enhance their leadership.

Don was a Founding Member of The Center for Organizational Dynamics at the University of Pennsylvania and a Founding Member of the Psychoanalytic Coaches Association. He is a Member of the Human Resource Planning Society and The Philadelphia Human Resource Planning Group. Don is active in his community and serves on the Executive Board of the Friends of Independence National Historical Park.  Don is a member of the Union League of Philadelphia and serves as President of the Union League Investment Club.

Don is a graduate from the University of Pennsylvania with a Masters Degree in Organizational Dynamics.

Clients include Directors and Partners at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.  Pharmaceutical Companies include Physician Directors in Oncology and Cardiology at Centocor J&J, Wyeth and Pfizer. He has also worked with Directors and Division Chairs in Cardiology, Surgery and Transplant in Hospital Based Health Care Systems in Philadelphia and Lehigh County.
